Ninja

Release your Freedom!

 

Ninja is a term used to describe a new and rapidly developing activity which has gained popularity through the television show, Australian Ninja Warrior.

 

Ninja programs are now a recognised GymSport through the Gymnastics Australia framework, called FreeG which stands for Free Gymnastics. The program encourages participants to fuse traditional gymnastics and acrobatic tricks with ninja obstacles and courses, as well as, kicks, leaps and jumps made famous through martial arts and parkour.

Ninja classes will get hearts racing and develop a heightened sense of spatial awareness that can be put to good use in a variety of other sports (including boarding, biking, skiing, climbing and surfing).

 

Key elements of strength, speed, agility and  coordination will be challenged on our state of the art ninja structure and get bodies moving in ways never thought possible. Children will learn to swing, jump, roll, climb and flip in a fun and safe environment.

 

Classes are structured around individual and team based activities designed to build confidence and foster the development of lifelong skill, physical literacy and healthy habits of movement.

Ninja Classes

Ninja Junior

 

5 to 7 years

This is a ninja class for boys and girls. It introduces children to movements including acrobatic gymnastics skills, ninja warrior obstacles, parkour style jumping and martial arts kicks, jumps and leaps. 

Classes are structured around group activities, circuits and ninja obstacle training.

Classes are 1 hour.

Ninja Senior

 8 years+

This is a ninja class for boys and girls. It introduces children to movements including acrobatic gymnastics skills, ninja warrior obstacles, parkour style jumping and martial arts kicks, jumps and leaps.

 

Classes are structured around group activities, circuits and ninja obstacle training.

Classes are 1 hour.
