HOW DO I BOOK INTO A CLASS?
New enrolments can be done over the phone, our office number is 9661 9955. Our office hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-12pm, 3pm-6pm and Sat 8am-12pm. Our administration team would be happy to assist you in enrolling your child into the appropriate level.
HOW DO I RE-ENROL?
Re-enrolments can be done over the phone. We offer priority enrolments for current members first then we open to the public. Classes must be booked and paid in full prior to the term commencing.
DO ENROLMENTS ROLL OVER?
No, members are required to re-enrol each term.
DO YOU OFFER TRIAL CLASSES?
Yes, we offer trial classes after week 2 of term. A trial class is $30 and this fee is deducted from the term fees, if booked within the same term.
HOW LONG DOES MEMBERSHIP AND INSURANCE LAST?
Gymnastics NSW insurance ($57) and our Club Membership ($30) must be paid when signing your child up to gymnastics. Both of these last for a full calendar year (Jan-Dec). Every child must have insurance to participate in gymnastics at Bunnerong. 1 Club Membership is permitted per family.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD ENROLLED?
A sibling discount will be applied to the cheapest term fee in cases where parents have more than one child enrolled. There is a 20% discount for the second child and a 30% discount for every child after.
DO YOU ACCEPT ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHERS?
Yes, we do. If you would like to use the Active Kids Voucher at our club, you will need to provide us with your child’s date of birth and the voucher number. This can only be used once a year, so if you have already used it for another sport.
CAN I USE MY ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER FOR HOLIDAY CAMPS?
No, Active Kids Vouchers can only be used towards term fees.
WHAT SHOULD MY CHILD WEAR?
Children in the recreational programs are not required to wear a leotard however they can if they choose. Tights, comfortable shorts, singlets and T-shirts are ideal for children to wear during their class, as long as they are not too loose fitting. Skirts, dresses and denim are not to be worn as they are not practical for children to move around properly when doing their skills. No shoes or socks in the gym, and long hair must be tied back. No jewelry is to be worn during the classes.
DO YOU OFFER MAKE UP CLASSES?
The office must be informed of any absences prior to missing a class to be eligible for a make-up class. If the office is not notified you will not be able to book in for a make-up class. A maximum of 2 make-up classes are permitted per term. All make-up classes must be made within the same term that they are missed. Make-up classes can be booked in after week 5 and must be booked in prior through the office. If your class is not offered on another day you will be eligible to do your make-up lesson in another class.
WHAT IF MY CHILD DOESN'T LIKE GYMNASTICS AND I HAVE ALREADY COMMITTED TO THE TERM?
Our voluntary withdrawal policy states that if a member decides not to continue to the end of term, the member will incur a 2 week cancellation period from the date of notifying the club administration. Gymnastics NSW Affiliation is non-refundable.
WHAT ARE THE TERM DATES?
Every term runs with the NSW Public School term. Classes begin on every Monday of the first school week back, and classes finish on the last Saturday of the term.
IF THE TERM LANDS ON A ON PUBLIC HOLIDAY DO YOU STAY OPEN?
Yes, we do not close on public holidays during term time.
WHAT FOOD/DRINK AM I ALLOWED TO BRING INTO THE GYM?
With the exception of water, no food or drink is permitted inside the gym. We are a nut free zone.
