Gymnastics increases flexibility, improves bone health, builds strength, creates self-discipline and develops coordination, all whilst being extremely fun! No other fitness class will have you jumping, swinging and flipping your way through workouts!
Gym for Fitness
After recognising the need for a continuation class for gymnasts who have decided they no longer wish to compete, we have created Gym for Fitness. The class is for ex-competitive gymnasts or current advanced gymnasts who do not wish to compete, aged 11 years and up. The aim is to give gymnasts a pathway after competitive gymnastics. The transition out of being a competitive gymnast training up to 20 hours per week, can be daunting. We want to provide gymnasts with an opportunity to train between 2-6 hours per week to maintain the strength, flexibility and fitness, that they worked so hard for over a number of years. These classes will set gymnasts up for a future of healthy lifestyle and exercise habits whilst giving them the ability to practice skills in a fun and safe environment where they can stay engaged with Club and their friends.
Formerly known as Adults Class, B Fit is your way to improve mobility, build strength and learn new skills whilst actually enjoying your workout! Say goodbye to boring, mundane fitness classes and say hello to B Fit where you will be having so much fun jumping, swinging and flipping that you forgot you were working out! For an overall body workout, classes incorporate strength, conditioning, flexibility, apparatus based programs and the option for free gym to work on those specific skills that you have been wanting to try.
B Fit is on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-8:30pm and must be booked into prior to attending. The cost for sessions is either $30/class for casual rate or $20/class if you sign up for the term. If you choose to sign up for the term, you will need to pay Gymnastics NSW Insurance Registration of $60.50 which lasts for the 2022 calendar year.
Gym for Fitness
11 years +
For ex-competitive gymnasts or current advanced gymnasts who do not wish to compete. Classes focus on maintaining strength, flexibility and fitness, as well as, practicing skills in a fun and safe environment to stay engaged with the Club and friends.
Classes are 2 hours.
Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's 6:15pm-8:15pm.
