Movie Night Fundraiser

Bunnerong Gymnastics is hosting a Movie Night on Saturday the 26th of June from 5-9 pm to raise funds for Edmund Rice Camps.

​

The cost is $25 per child and will include gymnastics and games in the gym, followed by a pizza dinner and Mitchell vs The Machines (PG) movie on our projector!

National Championships

NATIONALS WRAP UP!

We are very proud of Amelia and Georgina who competed beautifully last week at the Australian Championships in Queensland!

​

We are so proud of you both for getting so far and competing in Level 10, what an achievement!

Level 1 & 2 Mock Competition

We will be running a Mock Competition for our Level 1 and 2 gymnasts at Bunnerong Gymnastics on Wednesday 30th June and Wednesday 7th July 3:15-5pm. We will be using this as a grading opportunity with our Gymnastics NSW Accredited Judges. Bookings can be made via the Customer Portal. 

National Championships

Good luck to our Head Coach Alex who heads off to National Championships in Queensland this week with Amelia and Georgina competing in Level 10! This is the first time that Bunnerong has had Level 10 gymnasts at Nationals in 17 years. Such a tremendous achievement for the girls with all of their hard work paying off and all under Alex's amazing guidance and coaching. We are so proud of all of you!

Shoosh for Kids

Bunnerong Gymnastics is proud to announce that we have again joined the State -Wide Shoosh for Kids campaign for 2021.

​

Shoosh For Kids isn’t about keeping quiet in sport, it’s a reminder that if you have nothing nice to say towards coaches and athletes, don’t say anything at all!

​

Let’s all work together to keep our comments and actions positive and keep our kids coming back to the sport they love.

State Team Training

We are so proud of Georgina and Amelia as they participated in their first Gym NSW State team training session over the weekend!

You performed your routines beautifully in preparation for nationals in 2 weeks time!

Amelia also performed her first ‘D’ release skill on bars by herself!

2019 GYMNSW AWARDS NIGHT

Congratulations to Lachlan Forato who was nominated for the award of 2019 NSW Men's Artistic Gymnastics Senior Levels Athlete of the Year and to Amelia Shariff who was nominated for the 2019 NSW Women's Artistic Gymnastics Junior Levels Athlete of the Year!

Bunnerong Gymnastics received an award in recognition of having over 1,000 members in 2019.
