Gymnastics NSW has recognised that most WAG Gymnasts have missed out on two years of competing. So, they have created a virtual competition called Lockdown Challenge. Gymnasts across NSW will compete against each other in a variety of home-based routines, which do not require equipment.
The gymnasts' routines will need to be filmed and submitted to Gymnastics NSW before the deadline dates. The event will run over seven weeks with a total of five video submissions required.
Video submissions will be assessed by qualifed GNSW Judges and awarded scores. At the conclusion of the event, gymnasts will be banded based on their scores and medals will be sent out to the all around winners.
The cost to enter the virtual competition is $25 per gymnast.
Please read the Lockdown Challenge Handbook for the full competition details.
